Pearl E. Drake Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 14th, 2008 at the First English Lutheran Church in Tyler. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday. Pearl E. Drake, age 98 of Tyler, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2008, at Sunrise Manor in Tyler, MN. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 14th, 2008 at the First English Lutheran Church in Tyler. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday. Drake was born May 21st, 1910 in Avoca, MN, to Roy and Amanda (Genett) Ankrum. She grew up in the Tracy and surrounding areas, and attended school in Tracy, MN. Pearl was united in marriage to Percy Drake on December 3rd, 1938. She was always active in Ladies’ Aid, enjoyed crocheting, knitting, teaching ceramics, and was always the first to volunteer for anything. Pearl loved to cook and provided meals for many thrashing crews. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her sons: George (Eleanor) Trembly, and Dennis
(Barbara) Trembly; grandchildren: Wayne (Wendy) Trembly, Janeice
Betchwar, Jeffery (Ann) Trembly, Denise (Drew) Neihans; 10 great-grandchildren;
and one sister: Eva Broderick. She was preceded in death by her
parents; her husband Percy; and her brothers: Howard, Jack, Fred,
Charles, and Lawrence Ankrum. |
