Carroll A. Beens

Carroll Arnold Beens age 69 of Tracy passed away on Monday, June 8, 2009 at the Prairie Home Hospice in Marshall.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Grace Life Church in Marshall.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Tracy Area Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. Interment is in the Gales Township Cemetery. The Tracy Area Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Carroll Beens was born July 5, 1939 in Tracy, Minnesota to Arnold and Lucille (Carlson) Beens. He attended school in Walnut Grove and graduated in 1957. Carroll started Beens Distributing in 1985 where he worked until retiring in January 2009. Carroll was a charter member of the Tracy Eagles Club. He enjoyed shooting pool, watching Western Movies and races. He was a big supporter of his children and grandchildren in their sporting activities. He loved visiting and spending time with his customers, neighbors, friends and family.

Carroll is survived by his wife Carroll; six children; fifteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brothers Ron Beens and wife Karla of Walnut Grove, and Brian Beens of Wabasso; and many other relatives and friends. Preceding him in death are his parents, one grandson, and many friends and relatives.
