Douglas H. Buller, age 54, of Redwood Falls passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 17, 2008 at his home of natural causes. Private family services will be held at the Redwood Valley Funeral Home in Redwood Falls. Interment will be at Crestlawn Gardens. The Redwood Valley Funeral Home handled the arrangements. Douglas H. Buller was born on March 18, 1954 in Glencoe, Minnesota to Menno and Rose (Peterson) Buller. He was baptized and confirmed in the protestant faith. Douglas attended Redwood Falls High School and graduated in 1972. After his schooling Douglas served in the U.S. Army as an MP in Heidelberg, Germany. Following his honorable discharge he returned to Redwood Falls. He worked for Eastwood Estates doing service work and setting up. He also worked for Schult Homes as a serviceman and driving pilot cars. Douglas had a perfect driving record for over 1 million miles.

Douglas enjoyed playing pool, where he won many trophies. He enjoyed many sports, singing in high school, fishing, playing his guitar, and spending time enjoying nature.

Douglas is survived by his parents: Menno and Rose of Redwood Falls; brothers and sisters: Diane Hagen and husband Ken of Chattanooga, TN; Joel Buller and wife Char of Redwood Falls, Jodell Buller-Russ and husband Tom of Silver Lake, and Bruce Buller of Redwood Falls. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews: Jamie & Justin Hagen, Krysti, Jake (Up), Josh, TJ, & Andrew Buller-Russ, and Brian & Brett Buller. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
