Lynn Bergum

Lynn Bergum, age 59, of Morton, formerly of Redwood Falls, died Monday, May 4th at the Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park.

Funeral services will held be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 8th at Cornerstone Christian Church in Redwood Falls with Pastor Mike Moser officiating.

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Redwood Valley Funeral Home in Redwood Falls and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Interment will be in the Redwood Falls Cemetery.

Lynn Bergum was born January 4, 1950 in Redwood Falls to George and Gert (Wolverton) Mann. She graduated from Redwood Falls High School in 1968 and worked at various places in the area including Control Data, Service Enterprises and Jackpot Junction. Lynn married Chuck Bergum on April 19, 1980 and they have resided in Morton since 1998. She enjoyed playing Bingo and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Chuck; two children: Kim (March) Allex of Renville and Brandon Bergum of Franklin; her two grandsons, Jordan Freitag of Renville, Keegan Bergum of Huron, SD; and her granddaughter, Kaylie Bergum of Redwood Falls. Also surviving are two sisters: Kathy (and Lonnie) Feeler of Coffeyville, KS, Marcia (and Chuck) Dyson of Wichita, KS; and six nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Dick; and her sister, Judi (Mann) Thomas.
