Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Sunday at the Redwood Valley Funeral Home with a 6:30 p.m. prayer
service. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at
the church Monday.
Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, July
7, 2008 at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Redwood Falls.
Jerome Arndt age 84 of Redwood Falls passed away
on Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at the Redwood Area Hospital. Funeral
services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 7, 2008 at Gloria Dei Lutheran
Church in Redwood Falls. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. – 7:00
p.m. Sunday at the Redwood Valley Funeral Home with a 6:30 p.m.
prayer service. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services
at the church Monday. Interment is in Crestlawn Gardens. Email condolences

Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
Jerome Harold Arndt was born on June 11, 1924 in Burnstown Township,
Brown County, Minnesota to Arthur and Clara (Pirmantgen) Arndt.
He attended country school District #4 and Springfield High School.
Jerome Arndt was united in marriage to Florence Kettner on June
3, 1947 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Springfield, MN.
Together the couple farmed near Springfield and later moved to Wabasso
where they lived and farmed until 1984. Upon retirement they moved
to Redwood Falls. Jerome was an active member of the Wabasso Lions
and also sold Asgrow seed corn until he was 72 years old. Jerome
enjoyed being with family and friends, playing cards, golfing, traveling
and watching sports.
Jerome is survived by his daughters: Jean Benda and husband Les
Widerski of Apple Valley, MN and Joan Bunch and husband Frank of
Woodstock, IL; grandchildren: Kristin Benda of Apple Valley, MN,
Sarah (Bryan) Dye of Minneapolis, Nicole Bunch of Minneapolis and
Scott Bunch of Woodstock, IL; great grandson Adam Dye; brother Eugene
(Donna) Arndt of Springfield and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Florence on August
17, 2006, sister Harriet Mielke in 2005 and stepmother Hattie.
